WHAT IS SOUL WOMEN?
Soul Women is for any women in our church and wider community who would like to connect with one another, and be equipped to live out their faith in their every day lives. We get together twice a year for breakfast, followed by worship, teaching from inspiring women, and we make time to pray for one another. Our events are held in the autumn and the spring.
Saturday 10th May, 9.30am-12pm
We’ll be joined by Keira Phyo who is Director of the Reconciling Leaders Network which is based at Lambeth Palace as part of their reconciliation network. RLN is seeking to mobilise a generation to live out their calling as peacemakers and reconcilers, pursuing a just and flourishing society.
Kiera will be sharing about what it means that our God is a God of justice and we can’t wait to hear from her!
THE PLAN
Breakfast
As with so many things at SSW, we start with food! This is a great opportunity to chat to friends and meet new people over a delicious breakfast. We will be hosting a table for anyone who’s come for the first time or has come to make new friends. (Gluten free and dairy free options are available - please indicate your requirements when signing up.)
Sung Worship
We love to spend some time singing our praises to God, seeking to tell him how much we love him and spend time in his presence.
Teaching
To grow in our faith, we look at a variety of topics, hearing from different speakers and leaders each time.
Prayer
Before we close our time together we will make space to pray for anyone who would like to receive prayer.
