The Bereavement Journey
Our last series finished in March 2025 and we’ll keep you posted about future dates.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DON’T HAVE ANOTHER COURSE PLANNED YET SO THE BELOW IS JUST FOR INFORMATION
Grief can be very painful and all of us will be affected by it at some point in our lives. The Bereavement Journey is a seven-session course starting on 10th February and is suitable for anyone aged 18+ who has lost someone important at any point in their life.
Each week we’ll watch a series of short videos and then there will be space for discussion in small groups. The material is designed to validate each person’s experience of grief and help them feel safe as they explore their loss. There is no expectation to say or do anything so participants can make their own decisions about what feels right for them.
To maximise the benefit, we recommend attendance at all the six main sessions and that a trusted person is found to check in with after each session. The seventh session is optional and is for those who would like to explore spiritual questions which often arise in bereavement, or just listen to a Christian perspective. Feedback over the years is that this session helps people of all backgrounds, whatever their faith or none.
Sessions will run every Monday from 7.30-9.30pm in Warehouse 7.
The cost is £10 per person to cover course materials.
